Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
MyAutoContent is a software-as-a-service platform that helps users create and manage content, connect Facebook Pages, schedule posts, and publish authorized content to those Pages. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect account information you submit directly, such as your name, email address, profile details, and subscription or account status. When you connect Facebook, we may receive Facebook Login information, Facebook Page IDs and names, business or Page assets you authorize, and information about permissions granted to MyAutoContent.
To provide publishing features, we may process access tokens or related credentials required for authorized Facebook Page actions. We also process content you create or upload, including schedules, captions, text, images, media, publishing status, and publishing history. Basic device, request, security, and diagnostic logs may be collected for service operation, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and security.
2. Facebook and Meta Data
Depending on enabled functionality and Meta requirements, MyAutoContent may request:
- pages_show_list, to identify Facebook Pages you manage and make them available for selection;
- pages_manage_posts, to create and manage posts on a Page you select;
- pages_read_engagement, to read basic Page information and engagement data needed by enabled features; and
- business_management, when needed to access business assets you explicitly authorize.
We use Facebook data only to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the functionality you authorize.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate accounts; connect Facebook; show Pages available to you; let you select a destination Page; create, schedule, and publish posts; manage connection and publishing status; diagnose failed publishing; prevent abuse and fraud; improve service functionality; provide customer support; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Access Tokens
Access tokens are used only to perform actions authorized by you. They are not intended for public exposure and may be stored server-side where required for scheduled or background posting. Facebook access may expire or be revoked by you or Meta, and you may need to reconnect your account. Disconnecting or revoking a connection prevents future authorized use through that connection after the revocation is recognized by the service.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, payment, analytics, artificial-intelligence, communications, security, and other service providers necessary to operate MyAutoContent. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect users, the service, or others.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and operational requirements. After a Facebook connection is disconnected or revoked, associated credentials should no longer be used and will be deleted or invalidated according to our retention and deletion processes. Some information may remain temporarily in protected backups or where retention is legally required.
7. Your Choices
You may update account information, stop or remove scheduled publishing, disconnect Facebook within available account controls, revoke permissions through Meta, and request deletion of eligible data. Instructions are available on our User Data Deletion page.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
MyAutoContent is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International Processing
Information may be processed in locations where MyAutoContent or its service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from those in your location.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
